When my new owners picked me up my name was Mugsy. My new owner tried really hard to keep my name but she kept confusing Mugsy and Bugsy so it became difficult for her to train me. She posted on her Facebook suggestions for a name. Her cousin came up with “Mac” short for MacGyver. My owner and her cousin always joke around about who is the toughest, Chuck Norris (my owner says) and MacGyver (her cousin says). Well, my owner had to laugh when her cousin posted “Mac” as her suggestion. So, my owner mom tried it out. The moment she said “Mac” my ears wiggled and I looked right at her. She knew right then Mac was the name for me. MacGyver is known for getting out of tricky situations. Well, I was able to get out of my tricky old life with owners that didn’t care and got myself into my wonderful new home.
Mac is definitely the name for me.
Oh… now I get it… MacGyver!!! 🙂 Great name… much better than Mugsy or Bugsy!!!
